Day 1Arrive in Nairobi
Meet your Amplink Safari representative at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to your Nairobi hotel. Settle in, rest after your flight and meet your safari specialist for a relaxed journey briefing.

Day 2Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, travel through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru. Arrive for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of rhino, buffalo, giraffe, lion and prolific birdlife.

Day 3Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
Drive across the Rift Valley and into Maasai country, arriving at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Your first Mara game drive begins in the late afternoon when wildlife becomes especially active.

Day 4Maasai Mara — Migration Country
Spend the day exploring the reserve with your private guide. During migration season, focus on the herds and river systems while also looking for lion, cheetah, leopard and elephant.

Day 5Maasai Mara — Big Cat Country
Enjoy an unhurried full day of game viewing, with the option of a picnic lunch in the reserve. Your guide will adapt the route to recent wildlife movements and your interests.

Day 6Maasai Mara — Your Way
Choose an early morning game drive, optional hot-air balloon safari, cultural visit or a slower day with morning and afternoon drives from camp.

Day 7Final Mara Game Drives
Make the most of your last full safari day with sunrise and late-afternoon game drives, revisiting favourite areas or seeking species still on your wish list.

Day 8Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast and, time permitting, a final short game drive before returning to Nairobi by road or optional scheduled flight for your onward journey.
